My name is Kasey Eileen.

On June 28, 2021, I had a flashback from an assault that I do not remember. Ever since that day, I have been learning about my body, my history, my mind, and my healing.

Writing has become a balm to my soul and a window into our healing. 

When I began to write with vulnerability, authenticity, and honesty, I found the key that unlocked a portion of this healing:

We do not walk this path alone.

This is not a solo journey. I know that now.

Collectively, we are healing and we are breaking cycles.

My words are only words, but if you are traveling this road with me just know:

You are not alone. You are strong. You are fighting to take your story back. You are remembering to take your song back. And that is power.
